What if Apple monitors Mac users in some complex ways

What if Apple monitors Mac users in some complex ways?

I would like to bring to an attention how Apple’s silent technology implementation may damage new Macs.

Would also like to open discussion if it is a designed hack or some kind of sophisticated monitoring that is able to collect Mac users’ data, their movements and most of all the way a Mac is being used under diverse circumstances.

MacBook 2015, MacBook Pro 2016 and all new MacBook and MacBook Pro computers start up itself when you open the lid. Have you ever payed attention why such is happening?

Whether your Mac is turned off or is sleeping, it wakes up as soon as you open the lid. No need to press the power button to turn on a turned off Mac. It’s not a safe approach. It’s not how electronic equipments behave once they are turned off. Turning off a Mac has a purpose. The purpose is salted by new feature added making every Mac more vulnerable.

I’m curious to know if it is productive to make a Mac self power on after it has been put powered off. Or is it Apple’s thought out convenience approach? All I do believe for now is that self powering a Mac once it is turned off is an immense amount of risk and an approach forcing every Mac be more vulnerable.

I do not think that it is helping a Mac user move faster, accomplish tasks quicker, or be more productive than ever before. For me when a Mac is virtually impossible to shut down, it bis questionable. It is critical to me to suspect if every of my move with my Mac is tracked? I like to learn it from Apple at the very first place but still have some concerns to relate to the world as it develops.

We, as consumers, inspire interpreters and companies alike to develop technologies to assist our lives. In return, technology advancements inspire us to be more productive by simplifying our lives everyday, which would be otherwise quite difficult to accomplish in today’s world. Technologies give us a unique pace to cope with. So it be all the times.

But every piece of technology we use may come with certain risk factor. For example, the invention and continuous development of laser technology is inspirational. But when it is implemented in consumer products such as laser hair removal, just a small mistake may result a life threatening damage to eyes and skin leading to permanent blindness to cancerous skin development. We know it. Awareness is vital as technology advances with a leap.

There are always risks in technology implementation and adaptation and we anticipate that too. But we cannot discard what technology is capable to offer us and its immense impact in our lives: negative or positive. We can’t just escape. Which should not mean that we can’t be resonate. Which also should not mean that we allow riskier impacts to continue.

Let’s talk what just happened with the introduction of all new MacBook 12” 2015. Apple silently pushed the Mac with auto turn on feature. And it opened a whole new world to Apple to experiment without dragging too much attention. It did not talk about the feature and it never thought was important to publicize. Instead, it implemented the same feature to all new portable Mac ever after.

Why did Apple do such silent feature implementation to all its new notebook lineup? I believe that Apple found out nobody quite getting bothered by such feature implementation and seemed as if it is getting adopted just the way Apple had anticipated. Nobody was questioning Apple for such feature.

The same Apple who feels pride in elaborating and dramatizing even the implementations of Emojis, remains mysteriously silent about the feature this scale large – until now. (Hopefully, after this article is posted, Apple may talk about it in a way it finds protective and also productive to its wrong feature implementation, as always.)

Apple is quite known to reinventing things as it repeatedly claims for such. I would call it refreshments of outdated technology in a new face, facets and features that soon deteriorate. This is exactly what is happening in Cupertino based company for last few years. Once proud Apple reveling sales numbers of its entire products, is not happy doing so anymore and becomes wiser enough to rise the per product purchase cost in an uneasy way. Is Apple like approach though – many inside and outside Apple circle grind their teeth.

All these new Mac notebooks waking up on their own when the lid is open or when the power cable is connected is a big concern Apple needs to clarify today.
